Under the direct supervision of our Finance Manager, the Accounts Executive will be responsible for performing daily accounting tasks, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and an understanding of Pakistani tax laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting Functions:
Execute daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions.
General Ledger Preparation:
Maintain and prepare accurate general ledgers reflecting the company’s financial activities.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
Manage and oversee all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payment of invoices and efficient collection of revenues.
Bank Reconciliations:
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements and records.
Accounting Software:
Keep updated and accurate records in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
Routine Banking Transactions:
Handle day-to-day banking transactions and liaise with banks for financial matters.
Financial/Management Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of financial and management reports, providing insights into the company’s financial status.
