Purchase Manager

Juliano Furs, a notable brand in the fur fashion industry, is in search of an experienced Purchase Manager to join our Karachi team. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing our buying activities in the market, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a steady supply flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting all buying activities for the company, including visiting markets to secure supplies.
Maintaining effective inventory management strategies to ensure available stock levels at all times.
Developing good relations with suppliers, which includes bargaining contracts for better delivery and pricing conditions.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to gather information on upcoming product releases and discontinuations.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on market research and product analysis.
Must do full quality control checks on all received supplies.
Handling shipping and logistics operations.
Helping the company find ways for cost-cutting.

Requirements:

Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the fur or leather industry.
Excellent negotiation skills to secure the best prices and terms with suppliers.
Strong understanding of inventory management strategies.
Experience with quality control checks, ensuring all procured items meet set standards.
Knowledge of shipping and logistics processes.
Ability to identify and implement cost-saving strategies.
Good communication skills to build relationships with suppliers.
Must own a bike/car for frequent market visits for buying activities. Transportation costs will be reimbursed by the company.
Basic understanding of the fur and leather industry, its products, and quality indicators.
