KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To implement social mobilization approach.
- Capacity building of the community members through orientation and in house trainings.
- Resolve conflict among the target community through effective dialogues.
- Identification of beneficiaries for multiple project interventions i.e. MPCG, NFIs, WASH, Livelihood and Advocacy.
- Assist District Coordinator/ Project lead(s) in identification of multiple assessments of project activities.
- Assist Safeguarding Protection and Inclusion Officer to conduct orientation sessions of Dignity Groups established in at community level.
- Supervise the community mobilizer’s team to implement social mobilization approach.
- Ensure broad-based community meetings (BBCM) / stakeholder workshops at the community level.
- Ensure needs assessment/baseline/surveys for data collection in the defined project areas.
- Identification & prioritization of the most vulnerable/marginalized villages through PRA tools.
- Ensure Initial contacts & programme introduction of the project in the targeted area.
- Technical guidance for the formation, revitalization, and strengthening of community development committees/organizations by ensuring inclusion of all segments of society on a sustainable basis.
- Ensure signing of the term of partnership (TOP) with committees (Cos/ LSO).
- Identification & prioritization of the most pressing needs of the communities through PRA tools (issues prioritization).
- Ensure regular meetings with community organizations for raising awareness about their entitlement i.e. social, and economic & rights.
- Capacity building of communities in terms of development of new proposals, CMST, LMST / refreshers/exposure visits, advocacy planning and campaigning etc.
- Facilitate & support other sectoral leads at the ground in need of identification/prioritization & verification of the project interventions/activities.
- Close coordination with relevant stakeholders working in the project’s targeted areas.
- Conducting community awareness sessions and organizing various training sessions/workshops / Campaigns / Special Events for the members of local community organizations (community participation in development, women in development)
- Regular follow-up and monitoring of project activities & timely reporting of identified gaps with the best possible solutions.
- Facilitate in the arrangement of IRP / donors visits to project areas.
- Conduct CO profiling i.e. collection of primary level data for a situation analysis of the communities and compilation of surveys being conducted on various issues in the programme/project area.
- Conduct thorough community mobilization process with key advocacy objectives.
- Preparation of weekly/monthly work plans against PMT (performance measured time frame) by ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks in the stipulated time period.
- Maintenance of hard record that includes field visits reports, CO meeting minutes, beneficiary data, assessment record, distribution record & other documentation.
- Ensure appropriate beneficiary’s data collection & screening prior to making any transaction
- Ensure proper filling of forms & formats as per desired standard
- Extend support to MEAL / MIS / Communications staff for gathering desired information.
- Close coordination with the line manager for effective implementation of project activities.
- Development of work plans for timely implementation

PERSON SPECIFICATION
It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as commitment to its PSEAH (preventing sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. IR has a zero-tolerance policy towards PSEAH and don’t support any action that promotes or encourages PSEAH.

Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Social Sciences
- 2 years with Master degree and/or 3 years with Bachelor degree
Computer Skills:
- MS Office, Outlook, ERP systems familiarity
Language:
- Sindhi, Urdu and English

- Strong emotional intelligence and resilience, and able to maintain self-control in difficult situations.
- Able to work under extreme conditions in field areas.
- Good communication skills in local as well as English / Urdu language which delivers information with clarity in a wide range of situations.
- Has a positive nature and able to overcome issues that create hindrance in achievement of entrusted goals / objectives.
- Having a learning attitude and a continuous improvement philosophy.
Note:Frequently visits to Designated field areas (Larkana, Dadu & Jacobabad)
