Responsibilities:
As a Network Engineer at IP Centric Systems, you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining efficient network configurations and connections.
- Establishing and optimizing the networking environment by designing system configurations, directing system installations, and configuring Cisco products.
- Enhancing network performance by troubleshooting issues, resolving outages, and conducting system upgrades.
- Configuring and installing various network devices and services, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS.
- Conducting IPTV/OTT platform testing and ensuring their successful integration.
- Monitoring overall network performance to determine necessary adjustments.
- Providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to swiftly resolve issues.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven expertise in Network Administration and Engineering.
- Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with network systems, including LAN, firewalls, routers, and printers, particularly with Cisco products.
- Comprehensive understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Required certifications include CCNP; CCIE and/or CISSP are highly valued.
- A solid grasp of network framework layers, specifically OSI or TCP/IP models.
