We are seeking a proactive and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our expanding sales team. As an SDR, you will play a crucial role in generating and qualifying leads to drive the success of our sales efforts. You will be responsible for reaching out to potential customers, gathering key information, and setting up meetings with our sales team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience in outbound sales and a passion for helping businesses grow.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation: Proactively reach out to potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and social media to generate new leads for Glow’s product offerings.
2. Qualification: Conduct thorough qualification of leads by asking the right questions to understand their needs, challenges, and business goals. Ensure that only high-quality leads are passed on to the sales team.
3. Scheduling Meetings: Schedule meetings between qualified leads and our Account Executives, ensuring a smooth transition and handoff for further sales engagement.
4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions, lead status, and follow-up actions in our CRM system. Track and report on lead generation metrics to measure success.
Skills and Qualities We’re Looking For:
Outbound Sales Experience: Proven experience in outbound sales or telemarketing, with a focus on high-volume calling and lead generation.
B2B Experience: Experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales is highly preferred. Knowledge of the technology or SaaS industry is a strong plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage potential customers and convey the value of Glow’s solutions effectively.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly. Able to adapt to new strategies and tools as needed.
CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software to manage leads, track interactions, and report on sales activities.
