The Team Lead - Sales is a pivotal role responsible for spearheading both the sales team and the Customer Success Managers (CSMs) in our SaaS-based company. This position requires a strategic leader who can drive revenue growth, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage customer retention while overseeing the sales process.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership:
Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve revenue targets, expand the customer base, and drive growth within the SaaS industry.
Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate markets, secure new clients, and maximize upselling opportunities.
2. Customer Success Management:
Oversee the Customer Success Managers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, retention, and successful adoption of our SaaS solutions.
Drive strategies to enhance the overall customer experience, including onboarding, support, and advocacy programs.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Foster collaboration between sales and customer success teams, ensuring alignment in messaging, product roadmap, and customer satisfaction strategies.
Work closely with product development and marketing teams to provide valuable customer insights and contribute to product improvement initiatives.
4. Product Knowledge and Client Engagement:
Possess and impart a comprehensive understanding of our SaaS products/services, guiding the sales and CSM teams in effectively articulating value propositions to clients.
Engage with key clients, participate in presentations, and negotiate contracts. Provide technical insights and solutions to address client needs.
5. Performance Management:
Conduct regular performance evaluations for both sales and customer success teams, setting objectives, providing feedback, and supporting skill development.
6. Pipeline Management and Analysis:
Oversee the sales pipeline and customer success metrics, analyzing data to forecast sales, identify expansion opportunities, and ensure customer retention.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
2. 7 years of progressive experience in sales, with a minimum of 4 years in SaaS sales, preferably in a leadership or managerial capacity.
3. Must have a C1 English level in speaking and writing.
4. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and drive both sales and customer success teams toward success.
5. In-depth knowledge of SaaS products/services, industry trends, and the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to clients.
6. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools.
7. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and customer success data to derive actionable insights.
This is Full-time, On-site.
Work Hours: US timing (07:00 am - 04:00 pm), equivalent to 05:00 pm - 02:00 am Pakistan Standard Time.
Additional Information: Please note that a mandatory 3-hour overtime is required after the shift.
