Explaining procedures to patients and answering questions.
Preparing equipment for use as needed.
Preparing examination rooms for patient exams.
Positioning patients for imaging exams.
Monitoring patients during exams.
Documenting information with computers.
Maintain and perform regular inspection on all X-Ray equipment.
Monitor equipment and ensure clean equipment to perform appropriate diagnosis.
Mange and ensure efficient disposal of various waste material.
Evaluate all X – Ray films and coordinate with physicians on same.
Maintain records of all X – Ray and prepare reports.
Prepare and update logbook and register patient number, X – Ray procedure and date of procedure and associate cassettes.
Schedule appointments on priority for patients appropriate X-Ray films.
Manage radiograph, prepare solutions and wash all films.
Assist patients to prepare for X – Ray and operate associate machinery.
Ensure safety of all equipment.
Keep testing equipment on regular basis for surety.
Support Biomedical engineer in receiving X – Ray equipment as per approved / agreed specifications only.
Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of X -Ray machine.
Coordinate with the DHQ relevant department for support.
Ensuring consistency and quality in the clinical protocols and provision of care.
Advocating and ensuring excellent patient care and outcomes.
Ensuring the work completion on schedule.
