You will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless delivery of our website projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously review and test websites against client requirements and design specifications.

You will collaborate closely with our design and development teams to maintain high standards of quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive quality assurance checks on websites to ensure they meet client specifications, encompassing:

  • Design elements such as color schemes, images, fonts, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Identification and correction of design flaws, including incorrect or poor-quality images.
  • Verification of accurate implementation of website copy.
  • Testing functionality across all sections to ensure correct operation of buttons and links.
  • Ensuring presence and functionality of essential elements like client social media links.
  • Validation of form functionality, including captcha verification.
  • Verification of inner pages and navigation for proper functionality.
  • Ensuring excellence in responsive design across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
  • Assessment of website speed and performance to optimize loading times.
  • Identification and reporting of bugs, issues, or inconsistencies to the development team.
  • Providing prompt feedback to project stakeholders on QA findings to ensure satisfactory issue resolution.
  • Collaborating closely with designers and developers to accurately implement client feedback and change requests.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role, preferably in a web development or digital marketing environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to spot visual, functional, and content-related discrepancies.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and ability to navigate and verify WordPress-based websites.
  • Strong understanding of website design principles, usability standards, and responsive design concepts.
  • Proficiency in testing websites across various browsers, devices, and platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and manage tasks independently.
  • The candidate should be available for audio/video calls with relevant stakeholders during designated office hours.
  • Availability during standard Eastern Time (8 am to 5 pm EST) – Monday to Friday. Note: Canadian Public holidays will be followed.
  • The candidate must be comfortable using time tracking software that automatically analyzes time spent on each activity and captures random screenshots.
