Overview of Job Description: Project Officer (HR)

The Project Officer (HR) for the Climate Resilient WASH: An Integrated Approach to Sustainable Solutions project in District Muzaffarabad will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient HR operations to support the project's success.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Staffing:
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and onboarding of project staff.
- Maintain an updated roster of potential candidates for future needs.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Foster a positive work environment and address grievances effectively.
HR Policy Implementation:
- Ensure compliance with HDF’s HR policies and procedures throughout the project.
- Assist in updating HR policies as per the project’s operational needs.
Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and organize capacity-building sessions for project staff.
- Support the development of orientation programs for new hires.
Performance Management:
- Support supervisors in implementing performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on staff evaluations.
- Assist in addressing performance improvement plans.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive records of all HR activities, including employee files, contracts, and leave records.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reports for the project management team.
Compliance & Coordination:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and project-specific HR requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to address HR needs effectively.
Other Duties:
- Undertake any additional HR-related tasks assigned by the Project Manager or senior management.
