Graceware Industries is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to manage and optimize the company’s tax reporting and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will ensure that Graceware meets all tax obligations while identifying opportunities for tax optimization. This position requires a strong understanding of tax regulations and laws, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local tax regulations, including preparing accurate tax returns (income tax, sales tax, etc.) on time.
Tax Planning: Develop tax strategies that minimize the company’s tax liabilities and enhance savings through legal means.
Tax Reporting: Prepare tax reports and documentation to ensure accurate reporting for internal and external audits.
Research & Analysis: Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and conduct research to ensure Grace Plastic is informed of tax opportunities and risks.
Advisory: Provide guidance to management on tax issues, including corporate structuring and new initiatives to ensure tax efficiency.
Liaison with Authorities: Act as the company’s point of contact with the legal tax consultant and local tax authorities when required.
Documentation: Maintain organized records of all tax-related documents and filings for easy reference and compliance purposes.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the company’s tax processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accredited or ongoing accounting qualification (e.g, CA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA) is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in tax accounting, with knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, and other relevant areas.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations in Pakistan and international tax exposure is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in tax accounting software and MS Excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various departments and external stakeholders.
