Support the organization by timely fulfilling its requirements of raw material, packaging material, factory supply, spare parts of machinery, other equipment, and components required for interrupted manufacturing of various product lines.
Explore the market for suitable vendors who can provide us raw material, packaging material, factory supply and other items on reoccurring basis to fulfill the requirement of our interrupted manufacturing of various product lines.
Evaluate and access the capability of vendors both technically and financially to ensure that our supply chain will be maintained without any technical or financial limitations of vendor and also keep the backup of vendors.
Negotiate with vendor or vendors to ensure the best possible prices and time schedule along with precise specifications of items to minimize the production cost accordingly.
Keep vigilant eye on market to determine the present and future situation pertinent to quality, price, and availability of material, products, or services involved.
Maintain proper record of inward and outward movement of material and maintain the minimum threshold of inventory by issuing purchase orders for replenishment of item below the minimum threshold. For this purpose, a minimum threshold of inventory level for each item will be prepared and got approved by the chairman.
Get the quality checked from QA department (Quality Assurance) to ascertain that quality of goods received is satisfactory and specifications are met with, before verifying the bill/Invoice of the .
