Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and purchase goods, materials, and services required by the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor their performance, and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
- Work to secure the best pricing while maintaining quality and ensuring that the purchasing process is cost-effective.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensure timely replenishment, and avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new products or services.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory, and prepare reports as needed.
- Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Work closely with internal departments, such as production, finance, and logistics, to ensure that purchasing aligns with operational needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP software
