1. Financial Management and Accounting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements. Reconcile bank accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development and management of project budgets.
- Track project expenses and revenue against budgets.
- Prepare financial forecasts and projections.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
3. Billing and Invoicing:
- Prepare and issue invoices.
- Track invoice payments and follow up on overdue invoices.
4. Expense Management:
- Process and review expense claims, particularly those arising from events, workshops, trainings, employee travel, and TA/DA.
6. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare financial reports and analyses for management review.
- Provide financial advice and support to project teams.
7. Administrative Support:
- Maintain financial records and files.
- Assist with office administration tasks as needed.
- Provide support to other team members as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Master’s degree or equivalent in the following area of competence: environmental sciences, environmental engineering, waste management, management studies, or any related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in waste management consulting or related field.
- Strong understanding of waste management principles, regulations, and best practices in Pakistan.
- Experience in conducting waste assessments, audits, and feasibility studies.
- Proven ability to develop and implement waste management plans and strategies.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
