We are looking for a talented and experienced Website Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Website Developer, you will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining user-friendly, responsive, and high-performing websites. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to bring creative ideas to life and ensure our websites meet business objectives and provide a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy websites and web applications using modern web technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes, mockups, and user flows into functional websites.
- Ensure website compatibility and performance across different devices, browsers, and platforms.
- Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing sites, addressing any bugs, errors, or issues.
- Implement security best practices and data protection measures.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and best practices to maintain competitive expertise.
- Integrate websites with third-party APIs and services, such as social media platforms, CRMs, or e-commerce systems.
- Work within project deadlines, delivering high-quality results in an agile development environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Website Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing your web projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong experience with server-side languages like PHP, Python, Node.js, etc.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) and web hosting platforms.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with back-end frameworks like Laravel or Express.js.
- Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) and server management.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
- Experience in e-commerce website development and payment gateway integration.
- Certifications in web development, user experience design, or related areas.
