We are looking for a skilled and motivated Freight Forwarding Agent to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the logistics of shipments by air, sea, road, and rail
- Manage documentation for customs clearance, import/export compliance, and other shipping requirements
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays or issues
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transportation companies to provide updates and support
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and freight activities
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and international trade regulations
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Word
