Responsibilities:

  • Encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
  • Provide support in cycle counts to the inventory controller.
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
  • Download the daily stock report from ERP and email it to concerned stakeholders.
  • Intimate procurement team for replenishing inventory items below safety stock levels and revision of schedules for items near maximum inventory levels.
  • Instruct workers to conduct kitting for production line orders, as per the picking list.
  • Update workers' skill matrix.
  • Lead, guide, and train workers as per the updated skill matrix.
  • Enhance and re-engineer current processes and design new ones to bring improvisation to the department.
  • Ensure all materials are stored away as per established quality and packing standards.
  • Issuance of material by weight on floors to avoid any discrepancy in physical and system inventory.
  • Weekly audit of Inventory for inventory accuracy.
  • Effectively monitor the flow of goods and implement the First in-first out (FIFO) method in the issuance of Inventory.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the 5S Program.
  • Coordinate with Production department personnel related to daily issuance and resolve the issues if any.
  • Issue and consume the general items on physical as well as on ERP.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelors
  • Must have at least 3-4 years of relevant experience.
