The Product Management Director leads the Product Management team responsible for conceiving, defining, monitoring, and refining Elixir’s digital products in the market to maximize business results. This high-level, customer-facing position manages a team of Product Owners to deliver and sustain end-to-end customer experience. The Director is a highly collaborative position that works closely with Engineering, Innovation, Operations, Customer Success, Sales, Presales and Marketing teams. The Director conducts customer research and collaborates with key stakeholders across business and technology to develop and convey Elixir’s product vision. The Director plays an integral role in developing frameworks and coaching the Product Management team to apply design-thinking practices and advocate the voice of the customer.
Business Management
Develop and implement frameworks for product management activities and oversee the daily operations of the Product Management team
Evaluate and develop Product Management team members, including conducting employee coaching, identifying employee and department needs, participating in hiring activities, and making recommendations for employee development
Develop product release strategies and roadmaps from early prototypes, alpha’s, beta’s, and GA releases, through minimum viable product (MVP), and to first and subsequent releases that align with Elixir’s Vision, product strategies, and goals
Establish and maintain relationships with the key business and technology stakeholders
Oversee and conduct customer research both internally and externally for gaining insight into the "voice of the customer".
Manages competitive analysis of Elixir products viz a viz, features, pricing and business models.
Conduct competitive analysis on alternative digital solutions that target customers might use
Discover customers’ needs and industry trends and translate them into new opportunities and solutions
Collaborate with key stakeholders and make recommendations to senior leadership to prioritize frequent and dynamic decisions based on the latest product analytics, product team metrics and customer feedback
Continually monitor and refine the product while in market
Address complaints and resolve problems.
Manage and maintain technology partners (OEM) pricing, contracts, and value that translates to features and functions into our products, solutions, and business applications, delivering strategic value to our roadmap to gain or maintain a competitive advantage in the market
Interact with Sales, Marketing, and System Integrators through collaboration to establish Go To Market best practices to productize and monetize our technologies to increase customer growth, new logos, customer adoption, and a competitive advantage
Product Delivery Management
Establish, communicate, and maintain the product vision and strategy
Define the product roadmap based on desired business outcomes
Accountable for quality of products and team's performance.
Manages and accountable for quality and user experience of the products.
Collaborate closely with product delivery teams
Establish frameworks to streamline and prioritize product lines, including frameworks to manage dependencies and avoid duplication
Coordinate with other stakeholders such as business, cloud and IT architects to align product and platform architectures and capabilities according to agreed goals
Meet regularly with the Innovation team to qualify and prioritize new ideas and product capabilities into product lines
Manage a timely product delivery with the highest quality, stability and confidence in the office, in a virtual or remote working environment, a hybrid of in-office and virtual environment, and collaboration between the regional, global teams, and partners (S.I.’s)
Maintain a deep understanding of and coach other team members on Elixir’s customers, digital opportunities, and product value proposition
