We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Architect with over 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing high availability and high-performance applications on AWS cloud infrastructure. Expertise in AWS services such as Step Functions, microservices architecture, security best practices, and performance monitoring is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure solutions that support high availability and performance requirements.
Architect and deploy scalable microservices-based applications on AWS.
Develop automation scripts and templates for cloud resource provisioning and management.
Implement best practices for security and compliance in AWS environments.
Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for AWS deployments.
Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and optimize application delivery.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay updated with AWS services, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our cloud solutions.

Requirements:

Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
Previous experience working on a 24x7 cloud or SaaS operation team.
Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring.
Strong knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling ( Chef, Puppet, and Docker.)
Working knowledge of automation service provisioning and middleware configuration.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture patterns
Experience with AWS Step Functions or similar workflow orchestration tools.
Deep understanding of security best practices for cloud environments (IAM, encryption, network security).
Proven experience in implementing monitoring and logging solutions using tools like CloudWatch, ELK stack, Datadog, Pagerduty, Jenkin etc.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and mentor engineers.
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar are preferred.
