We seek a detail-oriented and organized Accountant & Admin Officer to manage and oversee the daily financial and administrative activities of our construction company.
The Accountant will manage financial records, prepare reports, and handle day-to-day financial operations. Will collaborate closely with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate budgeting and timely purchases for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records including project-related expenses, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Oversee and manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project budgets.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients for completed work.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring all vendor payments are processed on time.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management.
- Manage the payroll process for construction workers and staff.
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles, internal controls, and company policies.
- Market Research to get the best quality products and prices
- Prepare and maintain the list/inventory of assets/infrastructure
- Asset management, equipment, and system administration
- Coordinating with different local support functions
- Provide administrative support for the Director & GM Operations
