Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting, with proven experience in leading accounting processes and managing a team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements by GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance to support decision-making.
Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic planning initiatives.
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process.
Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate financial risks.
Assist in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred.

Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices, including US GAAP.
