Key Responsibilities:

Quality Systems Implementation:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems and processes in line with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and company policies.
Product Quality Control:
- Monitor product quality at all stages of production to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Review and analyze quality control data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformities and implement preventive measures.
Process Auditing and Improvement:
- Conduct regular internal audits of production and quality processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize production efficiency.
Team Leadership and Training:
- Supervise and guide the QA team to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
Customer and Regulatory Compliance:
- Address customer complaints related to quality issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international quality regulations and certifications.
Supplier Quality Assurance:
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to address supplier quality issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferrably in the leather/textile safety apparel, gloves, or bags industry.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Proficient in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis methods.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
Certifications (Preferred):
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent certification.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or similar quality improvement certification.
