As the Head of Sales and Trade Marketing, your primary responsibility is to develop and execute sales strategies, drive revenue growth, and build strong relationships with customers and partners. You will lead a team of sales and trade marketing professionals, oversee market research and analysis, and collaborate with various internal departments to achieve business objectives. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of sales and marketing principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define sales targets, quotas, and performance metrics.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and product visibility.
  • Manage relationships with channel partners, distributors, and retailers.
  • Monitor and optimize trade marketing activities to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Analyze sales data and market insights to identify channel-specific opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Track and analyze sales performance data, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales achievements, opportunities, and challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, trade marketing, or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
