We are looking for Tax professionals, both Full/Part-time, who will be responsible for preparing a complete and accurate tax return while maintaining a professional attitude.
Job Requirements:
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing individual income tax returns using ProSeriesPro
- Preparing Business tax returns using ProSeriesPro
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Ability to speak clearly and professionally with clients
- Ability to manage deadlines
- ProSeries experience is a +
- Creative Solutions and File Cabinet experience is a +
Requirements:
- 4-year accounting degree is a +
- 3 to 5 years solid tax return experience
- Must have PTIN and a valid Registration ID number from the NYS Taxation Department for the current tax year
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Good attention to detail when conducting tax interviews with clients
- Must be able to work without supervision and answer clients' questions related to tax codes, or be able to research tax-related answers using the IRS website
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in person
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Russian (South Asian Language) is a +
