Assistant Manager Compliance

Cotton Web Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager - Compliance to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for ensuring that the company adheres to all internal policies and external regulations. This role involves managing a team of five compliance professionals, focusing on conducting audits, training staff on compliance issues, and continuously improving our compliance frameworks. The successful candidate possesses strong knowledge in audit compliance, regulatory compliance, and the creation of training and awareness programs. You will be at the forefront of identifying compliance risks and resolving non-compliance issues, guaranteeing the integrity and ethical standards of our operations.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies that align with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct thorough internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement, preparing actionable recommendations.
Organize and facilitate ongoing compliance training for employees to enhance their understanding of regulations and compliance requirements.
Prepare detailed reports and maintain all necessary documentation related to audits, compliance activities, and training sessions.
Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate compliance risks through regular assessments and engagement with relevant stakeholders.
Investigate and address non-compliance issues swiftly, developing corrective actions and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Monitor changes in regulations and industry standards to ensure that the organization remains compliant and adjusts policies as needed.
Lead and mentor a team of five compliance professionals by providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with other departments to foster a culture of compliance across the organization, ensuring compliance is ingrained in all operational areas.
Assist in the development and execution of compliance strategies that support the organization's business objectives and ethical framework.
