In the year 2000 while the world was entering the brand new millennium, the South Asian Educational Promotion Network decided to introduce exceptionally designed educational facilities in Pakistan with a patriotic passion to serve the motherland in this field. To materialize these sincere aspirations of SAEPN, it needed a person who may possess not only leadership qualities to realize its aims with full responsibility but could also have the will and determination and strength of character. Its quest and search brought it in contact with Prof. Dr. Ch. Abdul Rehman, a young passionate educationist filled with sincerity of purpose, unshaken determination and a will to triumph over all obstacles standing as hindrance between him and his objectives. His was a burning desire to bring about a bigger than life change on the educational horizon of the country.
