The organization of Hansel Pharmaceutical ventured in Pharma business in 1989 by launching a distribution company Al-Rehman Enterprises. Over a period of fifteen years Al-Rehman Enterprises has become a well reputed and leading company in the fields of marketing and distribution of medicines/drugs to government as well as private sector institutions/hospitals and foreign aided projects sponsored by World Health Organization, Asian Development Bank and World Bank along with marketing medicines/drugs.

In 2004, the management of Al-Rehman Enterprises established their own manufacturing unit i.e. �Hansel Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd� not only to participate in the tender business at their own and to market its own manufactured products in Pakistan but also to export its manufactured medicines/drugs.
