Full Stack Developer - WordPress / Shopify

We are looking for a versatile and talented Full-Stack Developer with expertise in both WordPress and Shopify platforms. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in developing and maintaining websites on WordPress and Shopify, with a strong proficiency in React.js, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Gutenberg Blocks, and Shopify's Liquid templating language.

This role will require you to handle end-to-end website development, from custom theme and plugin creation in WordPress to store customization and app integration in Shopify. You will collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to create high-performing, user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain WordPress and Shopify Websites ensuring they are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
WordPress Development:
Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins following best practices.
Build custom Gutenberg Blocks using React.js for flexible and dynamic content management.
Implement and manage Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create custom back-end solutions.
Optimize websites for speed and performance through clean, efficient code.
Integrate third-party APIs and services with WordPress sites for added functionality.
Troubleshoot WordPress-related issues and perform security updates regularly.
Shopify Development:
Customize and develop Shopify themes using Liquid and JavaScript.
Implement custom features and integrate third-party apps to enhance store functionality.
Optimize Shopify stores for performance and cross-browser compatibility.
Build custom Shopify apps as needed to extend store functionality.
Maintain Shopify sites with regular updates and provide technical support.
Collaborate with Designers to translate mockups and wireframes into pixel-perfect, responsive websites.
Ensure Cross-Browser Compatibility and mobile responsiveness for both WordPress and Shopify sites.
Optimize User Experience by using analytics tools and providing insights on performance improvements.
Troubleshoot and Resolve Technical Issues for both platforms and ensure smooth operation post-deployment.

General Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in WordPress and Shopify development (Specificaly in backend).
Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and React.js.
WordPress: Expertise in Gutenberg Blocks, ACF, and WordPress REST API.
Shopify: In-depth knowledge of Shopify Liquid, theme customization, and Shopify's Admin API.
Experience with MySQL, Git, and front-end build tools like npm, Webpack, or Gulp.
Strong problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on performance optimization and security.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment using agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with WooCommerce for WordPress and Shopify Plus.
Familiarity with Shopify Flow, Shopify Scripts, and custom app development.
Knowledge of SEO best practices for WordPress and Shopify.
Experience with cross-platform integrations and API development.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and design aesthetics.
