Responsibilities and Duties:

The Plant Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, operation, and maintenance of plant systems and equipment. This role involves optimizing plant processes, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and implement engineering solutions to improve plant efficiency and reliability.
Oversee maintenance programs to ensure optimal functioning of all equipment and machinery.
Analyze plant processes to identify areas for improvement, implementing best practices for efficiency and cost reduction.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
Manage engineering projects from conception through execution, including budget management and timeline adherence.
Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support operations and resolve technical issues.
Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends and propose corrective actions.
Provide training and support to plant personnel on equipment operation and safety procedures.
Maintain accurate records of engineering activities, compliance reports, and maintenance logs.

Requirements and skills:

3 -Years of Proven experience or a related field, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, Manufacturing, Chemical), or a related field (preferred).
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
Strong understanding of plant operations and engineering principles.
Proficient in CAD software and engineering design tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
