Job Title: YouTube Channel Reporter (business/Institution/Organisation Coverage)

Job Type: Part time/Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic YouTube Channel Reporter (Male/Female) to join our team, responsible for creating engaging video content showcasing the inner workings and significance of various businesses, institutions and organizations. The ideal candidate will have excellent reporting skills, a strong on-camera presence, and the ability to craft compelling stories that resonate with our audience.

Responsibilities:

Research and identify businesses, institutions, and organizations with impactful stories to tell
Conduct on-site interviews with key personnel, experts, and stakeholders
Write and edit scripts for video reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and engagement
Record high-quality video footage and audio, using professional equipment
Edit and produce final video content, incorporating visual elements and graphics
Collaborate with our team to optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags for maximum visibility
Develop a deep understanding of the institutes and organizations covered, highlighting their significance and contributions
Present findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, both on-camera and through voiceovers
Meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video reporting and storytelling

Requirements:

Preferably Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field (not compulsory)
2+ years of experience in video reporting, preferably covering business, institutions, and organisations
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Strong on-camera presence and interviewing skills
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Nice to Have:

Experience with YouTube optimization and video marketing
Knowledge of graphic design and motion graphics
Familiarity with social media platforms and content promotion
Additional language skills (written and spoken)
