Cesvi is looking for a qualified, self-motivated and well experienced individual to fill the following position based in Bahawalnagar with field missions to program areas.

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Under the overall supervision of the Monitoring, evaluation, Accountability and Learning  (MEAL) MEAL Manager, the successful candidate will provide support in the implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation activities across humanitarian programs in line with Cesvi policies, standards and commitments.

I.  JOB SUMMARY:

  • Ensuring that project Monitoring Plan is in place, followed, and updated regularly if needed.
  • Regular field visits to intervention areas in order to obtain first-hand information on the status and quality service delivery to the beneficiaries.
  • Timely report monitoring findings, observations, deviations from approved project implementation plan, as well as relevant recommendations to the Senior Management for appropriate course correction measures.
  • Regular report to Senior Project support Coordinator on the progress of project-related issues and challenges and suggestions for improvement in identified areas.
  • Ensuring periodic reporting of the project is being implemented in the respective area office, in line with the M&E Plan.
  • Design and implement KAP, Baseline, End line and PDM Surveys, including assessment design, data collection, and data analysis and reporting.
  • Facilitate the process for Inclusive Hazard Vulnerability Assessment (IHVA)
  • Collecting and document case studies and success stories related to project interventions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting outputs by overseeing monthly reporting actions, ensuring templates are completed accurately, analyzing monthly data and production of regular summary reports of the project.
  • Conducting Beneficiary verification and reporting on any non-compliance of beneficiary selection criteria to Senior Project support Coordinator along with technical supervisors in CO.
  • Oversee Complaints and Feedback Mechanism (CFM) in the field, in close coordination with the MEAL Manager, and ensure community feedback is registered, investigated, and timely addressed according to the Cesvi CFM guidelines and donor requirements.
  • Maintaining, updating, and sharing monthly community feedback log-sheet.
  • Keep up a good knowledge of Cesvi program, code of conduct and Cesvi Pakistan internal guidelines.
  • Be available for any other tasks directly related to the activities of Cesvi in different geographical locations in Pakistan in case of emergency provinces.
  • M&E Officer will spend atleast 80% of her time for regular field visits, process monitoring, data collection, and verification.

II. QUALIFICATION:

A) EDUCATION;

University degree in social sciences, statistics, development studies or related areas

B) EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of at least three (3) years of experience in design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, reporting and research working with INGOs/UN agencies.

C) COMPETENCIES:

D) TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Advanced knowledge in the usage of computers and office software packages, experience in handling of web based management systems.
