We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic student to join our team as a part-time Generative AI Intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting field of generative AI, working alongside experienced professionals. Responsibilities:

Research and Experimentation:

Vector Databases: Investigate how to effectively store and retrieve embeddings for improved context understanding and response generation.

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Experiment with techniques to combine the strengths of large language models (LLMs) and external knowledge sources to enhance factual accuracy and relevance.

Open-Source Embedding Models: Evaluate and leverage open-source embedding models to reduce costs and increase flexibility in model development.

Small Language Models (SLMs): Explore the potential of SLMs for specific tasks, such as summarization or question-answering, considering their efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Large Language Models (LLMs): Work with LLMs to generate creative text formats, translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer your questions in an informative way.

Quantization: Apply quantization techniques to optimize model size and inference speed, making them suitable for deployment on edge devices.

Model Development: Assist in the training of generative models, fine-tuning hyperparameters for optimal performance.

Model Evaluation: Evaluate model performance using relevant metrics and visualization techniques.

Prototype Development: Build prototypes of AI-powered applications, such as image generation, text generation, or creative content creation.

Collaboration: Work closely with our team to brainstorm ideas, share knowledge, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program, such as computer science, data science, or artificial intelligence.
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks (T TensorFlow, PyT orch).
A passion for AI and a keen interest in generative models.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
