Position Title: Field Supervisor/Surveyor

Location: Karachi

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Supervisor/Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting digital audits, supervising field activities, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of collected data. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills, a valid driving license, and their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct digital audits and surveys across various field locations.
Supervise and coordinate field activities and staff to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Collect, analyze, and verify data for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on survey findings and field activities.
Ensure all field operations comply with health and safety regulations.
Utilize GPS, GIS, and other surveying tools and technologies to collect data.
Maintain accurate records of field data and survey results.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Provide training and guidance to junior field staff.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies encountered in the field.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in field surveying, supervision, or a related role.
Proficiency with surveying equipment and software, including GPS and GIS technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
Willingness to travel extensively and work in various field conditions.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of relevant local and national regulations and standards.
Certification in surveying or related field.
Experience with digital audit processes and tools.
Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings and blueprints.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Capability to walk, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods.
Capacity to lift and carry survey equipment as needed.
