Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. As a Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement to meet production targets.

Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Scheduling:

Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
Create and maintain production schedules, ensuring optimal resource utilization.

Team Leadership:

Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of production staff.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Quality Control:

Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure product integrity.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement in production processes.

Efficiency Improvement:

Identify and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and eliminate bottlenecks.

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory levels, ordering materials as needed to maintain production schedules.
Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and stockouts.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Implement and monitor safety protocols to create a secure working environment.

Reporting and Analysis:

Generate regular reports on production performance, analyzing key metrics.
Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and inventory management.
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
