Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized one-on-one or small group online tutoring sessions to GCSE and A-level students.

  • Explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively, helping students improve their understanding and performance in subjects such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
  • Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Encourage and motivate students to achieve their academic goals and develop a love for mathematics.
  • Help students prepare for exams and provide strategies for effective test-taking.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with students and, if necessary, their parents or guardians.
  • Stay updated on curriculum changes and best practices in mathematics education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification or qualification is a plus.
  • Proven experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students in mathematics.
  • Strong knowledge of the current mathematics curriculum for GCSE and A-levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and adaptability to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
