1. Establish, get approval, implement, and supervise library and learning labs policies and procedures.

2. Develop, organize, and maintain library collections and learning equipment at various skill labs to meet regulatory bodies' requirements.

3. Oversee the library to ensure cleanliness, order, and protection of the library’s resources.

4. Develop and organize library inventory (e.g. with books, collections, periodicals, multimedia, etc.)

5. Conduct regular checks and updates on database information.

6. Help patrons research reading materials and references.

7. Select order and catalog relevant publications and multimedia resources at the library and learning equipment at skill labs respectively.

8. Ensure a current and accurate inventory of library materials and learning lab equipment maintain records and prepare annual statistical and analytical reports.

9. Assist and guide faculty and students in finding and using specific material and information in the library and learning labs.

10. Respond rapidly and reliably to information requests by faculty, students, and others through the use of all appropriate resources.

11. Conduct in-depth research using both online and print resources and produce abstracts and reports using the research data collected.

12. Stay current with trends and developments by reviewing publications, attending professional events, and receiving training from vendors.

13. Ensure compliance with relevant policies, laws, and regulations including copyright in connection with the use of library and learning materials and resources. Performing other related duties as assigned within the scope of employment.
