We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in WordPress, basic development skills, and a strong desire to grow within a collaborative environment. This role involves creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins, managing website content, and ensuring that websites are optimized for performance and user experience.
- Ensure website content and elements align with UX/UI best practices
- Build, modify, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with plugins, themes, and the WordPress core
- Optimize website performance for faster loading times using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix
- Implement security best practices to prevent website vulnerabilities
- Integrate APIs (like payment gateways, and marketing tools) and third-party plugins
- Ensure compatibility with WooCommerce and other eCommerce tools if needed
- Work with designers, content creators, and project managers to develop seamless web solutions
- Provide technical support to team members and clients on WordPress-related issues
- Maintain clear documentation and use version control tools like Git for code management
