As an IT/Support Executive at Aptech Metro Stargate, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees and clients. Your primary goal will be to ensure smooth operations of our IT systems and infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and offer timely solutions to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to internal staff regarding hardware, software, network, and other IT-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and networks.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of servers, including backups, security, and user access management.
- Monitor system performance and conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal functioning.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and upgrades.
- Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements and enhancements to existing systems.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to IT security and data protection.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, ACCP or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
