Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in refrigeration projects, manufacturing, and maintenance, with expertise in brazing. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our refrigeration systems in various settings. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical knowledge and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal functioning of refrigeration equipment
Diagnose and repair any malfunctions or issues that arise with refrigeration systems
Conduct tests and inspections on refrigeration systems to identify potential problems and recommend solutions
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of refrigeration components and equipment
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work done on refrigeration systems
Provide guidance and training to junior technicians and apprentices
Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in refrigeration technology

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in refrigeration or a related field is an asset
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Refrigeration Technician, with experience in project, manufacturing, and maintenance
Extensive knowledge of refrigeration systems and components, including compressors, evaporators, and condensers
Proficiency in brazing and other welding techniques
Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to refrigeration systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
