Logistics Manager

American Rags (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a dynamic Logistics Manager to oversee and enhance our logistics operations. The Logistics Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers, while effectively managing a team of 10 professionals. This position requires a hands-on approach to logistics and supply chain management, focusing on optimizing processes to ensure timely deliveries, managing costs, and minimizing operational disruptions. The successful candidate will bring an analytical mindset to address inefficiencies and drive continuous improvements across the logistics spectrum. Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive strategies to optimize supply chain processes, guaranteeing quick and cost-effective delivery of goods and services while eliminating unnecessary charges and penalties.
Supervise and oversee warehouse operations, ensuring accurate tracking of inventory, compliance with quality standards, and maintaining precise records for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Coordinate all transportation logistics, including managing inbound and outbound freight while negotiating contracts with carriers to secure reliable and cost-efficient delivery schedules.
Lead and motivate a logistics team of 10 individuals, focusing on hiring, training, and performance evaluation to foster a productive and efficient work environment.
Identify and analyze bottlenecks or inefficiencies within logistics operations, implementing innovative solutions and best practices for continuous improvement.
Prepare, manage, and monitor budgets for logistics activities, ensuring all expenditures are justified and align with overall business financial goals.
Establish and maintain robust relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring cooperation and alignment in operational objectives.
Ensure all logistics activities comply with applicable laws, safety protocols, and environmental regulations, safeguarding the company from legal liabilities.
