Primary Role:
Installation and usage of computer systems
Good knowledge of Firewalls, switches, and wireless
Linux: Ubuntu, CentOS
Virtualization: KVM/QEMU, HyperV
Employee onboarding/offboarding onto our various systems/tools
Maintain and update inventory management software
Software/Hardware issues/deployment
Troubleshooting network connections as well as development and installation of network connections
Password recovery or resetting
Systems maintenance
Set up and maintain data protection protocol and NAS
Secondary Role:
Set up and maintain data protection protocol and NAS
Keep computer systems running smoothly and support users
Setup, configure, monitor and maintain computer hardware, software & networks
Talk staff a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
Replace parts as required
Repair a fault or set up a system
Support the roll-out of new applications
Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues/block leaving employee’s address.
Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
Test and evaluate new technology
Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
