Assistant Director SCM

We are looking for an "ASSISTANT DIRECTOR SCM" who will be responsible for providing analytical insight to facilitate the company in making informed decisions about various sourcing and procurement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop strategies to identify the potential clients from Defense Forces as well as from Public/Private Sectors.

2. Engage with clients to identify their needs and support them by sourcing products from international and domestic suppliers.

3. Develop a databank and engage with them for product sourcing as per the requirements of the client. Familiarization with defense supply and procurement procedures as well as the defense procurement organization to ensure smooth supply and procurement processes.

4. Understanding and meeting the contractual obligations.

5. Maintain liaison with defense Originations to seek all possible information regarding opportunities and potential tenders.

6. Monitoring office operations, developing teams, working in different industries/products (as required by clients), and providing guidelines to research officers/staff for smooth functioning.

7. Reporting to the Executives of the Company and performing secretarial and administrative duties.

8. Accompany Executives in meetings, conferences, and travels within & outside the city.

9. Represent the Executives in meetings/conferences, where required.

10. Scheduling appointments, maintaining an event calendar, and sending reminders for tasks/deadlines.

11. Observing best business practices and etiquette.

12. Coordination/arrange the various meetings of the Chief Executive Officer and Director General of the Company with senior management of all types of organizations.

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Retired Major/ Lt Col or equivalent rank.

2. Master's degree and Computer literacy will be given preference.

3. Should know about defense procurement systems

4. Served in HIT/POF/PAC etc will be given preference.

5. Flexibility and adaptability in timing and schedule

6. Due to extensive traveling out of the city, night stays, and flexible schedules; males are preferred.

7. Age: Under 50 years.
