We are a US-based company with an office in Gulberg, Lahore. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Accounts and Finance to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our business. As the Manager of Accounts and Finance, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial functions of our company in Lahore. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of financial operations, with a primary focus on payables, invoices, vendor payments, payroll processing, and banking and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Management:

  • Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

  • Maintain vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and address vendor inquiries.

Invoice Processing:

  • Supervise the invoice processing workflow, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Coordinate with various departments to obtain necessary approvals for invoices.

Vendor Payments:

  • Manage the disbursement of vendor payments, ensuring adherence to payment schedules and terms.

  • Review and approve payment batches.

Payroll Processing:

  • Oversee the payroll processing, including calculation, distribution, and compliance with tax regulations.

  • Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.

Banking and Finance Operations:

  • Monitor and manage daily banking operations, including cash management, reconciliations, and bank account maintenance.

  • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

  • Collaborate with banks and financial institutions for various financial transactions.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and provide insights to the management team.

Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and US GAAP standards.

  • Prepare for and assist with financial audits and reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications like ACCA, CMA, or CA is a plus).

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance, with a focus on payables, invoices, vendor payments, and payroll processing.

  • Knowledge of banking and finance operations is highly desirable.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with US accounting standards and regulations is a plus.
