We are a US-based company with an office in Gulberg, Lahore. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Accounts and Finance to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our business. As the Manager of Accounts and Finance, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial functions of our company in Lahore. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of financial operations, with a primary focus on payables, invoices, vendor payments, payroll processing, and banking and finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Management:
Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Maintain vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and address vendor inquiries.
Invoice Processing:
Supervise the invoice processing workflow, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with various departments to obtain necessary approvals for invoices.
Vendor Payments:
Manage the disbursement of vendor payments, ensuring adherence to payment schedules and terms.
Review and approve payment batches.
Payroll Processing:
Oversee the payroll processing, including calculation, distribution, and compliance with tax regulations.
Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
Banking and Finance Operations:
Monitor and manage daily banking operations, including cash management, reconciliations, and bank account maintenance.
Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with banks and financial institutions for various financial transactions.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and provide insights to the management team.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and US GAAP standards.
Prepare for and assist with financial audits and reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications like ACCA, CMA, or CA is a plus).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance, with a focus on payables, invoices, vendor payments, and payroll processing.
Knowledge of banking and finance operations is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with US accounting standards and regulations is a plus.
