JOB PURPOSE
The Community Mobilizer, under operational guidance of the Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager and Senior Project Officer, is responsible for ensuring proper implementation of ACTED’s project in Jaffarabad District. The Community Mobilizer oversees field operations and ensures effective and timely completion of activities, delivery of quality outputs and achievement of outcomes with maximum impact for beneficiaries. The Community Mobilizer will work with the project staff in day to day management of all aspects of the project and liaises with relevant internal departments and external partners and project stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager and Senior Project Officer, the Community Mobilizer is required to perform the below mentioned responsibilities for the anticipated 3-Year BHA funded intervention in Balochistan. The project is expected to start from 1st May 2024.

Sexual exploitation means any actual or attempted abuse of a position of vulnerability, differential power, or trust, for sexual purposes, including, but not limited to, profiting monetarily, socially or politically from the sexual exploitation of another.
Sexual abuse means the actual or threatened physical intrusion of a sexual nature, whether by force or under unequal or coercive conditions.

Social cohesion is a key component to ensuring equitable service provision. ACTED’s interventions include the establishment of local representation bodies as well as supporting the rights of women, minorities and marginalized groups; Pillar 4 – Environmental protection and community resilience – This pillar aims to mitigate some of the effects of recurrent disasters, climate change and environmental degradation.
