Accounting Hunter is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. Key Responsibilities

Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as recording transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and financial statements.
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support the accounting team in managing payroll processing, including calculating wages, taxes, and other deductions.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain financial spreadsheets, track data, and perform data analysis.
Assist in the preparation of tax documents and support tax filing processes.
Maintain compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
Provide support for audits by gathering necessary documentation and information.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with formulas, functions, and data manipulation.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in accounting software is a plus.
Previous work experience in accounting or finance is beneficial but not required.
