Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Desktop Support Officer to join our client's team. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to a successful company while providing efficient and timely technical support for their technology users. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to and resolve user support requests via phone, email, ERP Tickets.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and peripherals.
  4. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
  5. Document and escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff.
  6. Provide basic user training and guidance on software and technology-related topics.
  7. Maintain accurate records of all support interactions and troubleshooting steps.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and advancements.
  9. Collaborate effectively with other IT team members and departmental personnel.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 01-02 years of experience as as an IT Help Desk Technician, Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or a similar role.
  • Technical degree/bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field (or equivalent demonstrated experience).
  • Strong understanding of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting principles.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Customer-oriented with a strong focus on providing excellent service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic scripting languages preferred.

Salary Package: Up to 70,000/-
